Update train, pulling into the station!
5:35pm EST - The devblog just hit.
5:30pm EST - So far, so good. Things are running smooth and no game breaking bugs have shown up. Here's the new map for main.
5:08pm EST - Client / server update just hit!
4:52pm EST - The update is still pending. I just polled main and the overwhelming consensus is to wipe. So, fuck it, we're wiping our main official server when the update hits. If this makes you butthurt, I recommend trying our low pop server, where we only wipe if it's an absolute necessity.
4:25pm EST - Any minute now... oh and PVT is now enabled by default, sweet!
3:25pm EST - A couple of last minute commits hitting main. Jenkins is doing his thing so we should see that update soonish. Also, dirt accumulation is apparently in the update (credit to Octominou for posting).
2:01pm EST - No update yet. Just added the new bota bag animations and horse powered mining concept below.
10:30am EST - It’s that point again: time for an update and devblog! Both should be launching in the next several hours (average time has been 4pm EST, 8pm GMT). This update does not force a server wipe, however, the 150k collider limit is still in play so many server owners may choose to wipe today. None of our server’s are at that limit yet, so no wipes are planned for us. As always, I'll keep you posted as the day progresses. In the mean time, here’s a summary of what to expect when the update hits...
Update summary
Signs?
There has been a bunch of hype about signs being added this week. Unfortunately, Garry confirmed a couple hours ago, they will not be in this week due to lack of sufficient testing.
Lock removal
Helk has added the ability to remove a lock if it is in the unlocked state. To do so, simply hold E on the lock and select the remove option:
Building LODs
In an effort to improve FPS, LODs have been added to all building tiers. This means lower quality versions of the building parts are rendered when you’re farther away. This also has fixed the issue where walls are invisible at certain distances.
Arrows are nerfed
Arrow damage has been lowered from 70 to 60. In addition, the recovery percentage has dropped from 100% to 70%.
Auto sprint
Left pinky's everywhere rejoice! You can let go of shift after 2 seconds and you’ll keep sprinting.

- server.cfg should work for server owners now
Horse powered mining
Howie created a new trello card for a horse powered mining concept with the comment:
Players would have to find a horse in addition to gathering the resources to build it, or they could substitute the horse for themselves or an enemy

Buzz buzz buzz
We’ve got an exciting announcement in the works: Rustafied is expanding. It is still a work in progress so I’ll let you in on all the details in the next couple of days. In the mean time, you can probably figure it out on your own if you’re clever ;)
