Jungle Update Next Week!
12:00am EST - As the month draws to a close, the team at Facepunch is working hard to prepare for next weeks Jungle Update!
Jungle update coming
The highly anticipated Jungle Update drops next week, packed with new environment features, deadly predators, and primitive weaponry.
Explore the dense new jungle biome with its variety of plants, trees, and climbable vines that function like zip lines between trees. The massive concrete Jungle Ruins monument (ziggurat-style) offers new looting opportunities with unique non-functional doors. New themed cave systems integrate seamlessly with the jungle environment.
The food chain gets deadlier with crocodiles that dominate both water and land. Panthers and tigers add a new hunting dynamic with stalking behaviors and the ability to drag their prey. Watch your step for venomous snakes that appear suddenly - jump to avoid them or take them down for valuable resources like fat and venom.
Two new primitive weapons join your arsenal: the versatile blowpipe with various dart types (including incapacitating and radiation darts) for strategic combat, and the boomerang that can be thrown to return or curved around obstacles to hit targets.
Rounding out the update are new jungle ruins building skins for stone structures, plus interactive elements like rope puzzles and tree-top zip lines for enhanced mobility through the canopy.
We’ll have a full run-down of all the new features of the update in our post next week!

A fresh DLC package launches alongside the Jungle Update! While not officially confirmed, code commits suggest it'll include:

The DLC appears to feature wicker and bamboo storage options including shelves, plus a stone-tier Jungle Building Skin. Round out your jungle experience with new emojis: bush, hide, and sick.
