Hotfixes
As is often the case with monthly updates, some hotfixes were needed after last Thursday's update and forced wipe. Here are some highlights of what has been fixed:
Server performance fixes
Increased egg suit durability 25 -> 80
Multiple fixes to double saddle horse
Possible server memory improvements
Phrases - removed a number of derogatory strings
Fixed map not able to be opened while spectating
Fix exception when trying to edit a map marker's label and the map is bound to a non-text key (eg. caps lock)
Weapon racks
Work continues on the upcoming deployable with utility and style. Weapon Racks will not only display your various guns to your group and visitors alike, they’ll allow you to easily grab and go or drop and store without getting cluttered up so much in UI.
It’s not clear exactly when these will be available to the masses, but I imagine it’s not too far off. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
Nuclear Missile Silo
Work on the newest monument continues over on the AUX2 branch. To be located largely underground, this large monument stands to feature radiation, loot, NPC’s, and more. It also stands to give more context as to the happenings around the island of Rust.
Not available for broader testing quite yet, no visuals on this monster as of now. We’ll post more information as soon as we have it.
Edit: It appears the Nuclear Missile Silo will be available to the public for testing on AUX2 tomorrow!
Mission Editor
It looks like some more comprehensive abilities with missions is on the horizon as Helk continues work on the missions editor. Although not clear exactly the scope of this project, it’d be great to have more flexibility and options when it comes to missions.
