Building fixes, tweaked vitals and lets go swimming!

12:30pm EST - Garry and Co are rocking out some very welcome fixes today. The last client update was yesterday afternoon so none of these changes are in effect on the servers yet. I'll keep an eye out for the client update, in the mean time, lets go over the highlights...
Building fixes
For a couple weeks now, you'd have to go on a very wide angle to get a door to place on an upper floor. Also, if you've hammered a wall near stairs at all, you've probably gotten frustrated when you realized you now have level 3 stairs and the wall isn't built at all. That is because the collision for stairs was all fucked. Thankfully, these issues have been remedied today. Also, Garry fixed it so you can no longer build on a floor frame.

Vitals changes
It looks like the days of Rust eating competitions are over. Up till now, your Newman has had an enormous appetite (1000 food-point-things). Garry has reduced the stomach capacity so you no longer need to eat 400 pieces of meat to fill that hunger bar. He has also reduced lung capacity so deep sea diving won't be as viable of a career choice anymore. If swimming is your thing, you're in luck because, not only are you now better at drying yourself off, the water temperature has increased.
Increased water temp
Swimming has been a real bitch for the past while in rust. Even in the desert midday, the water temperature would make you freeze your ass off and die before coming close to crossing most bodies of water. This has forced people to build huge bridges over water just to get across. Now, I actually like building bridges, but being able to swim is always nice. It looks like it is an option again now that the water temperature is increased. I’m not sure if there is a difference in the temperature depending on what biome you’re in. I'll run some tests when this update comes out to see how viable the swim option really is.
Held item drop properly
When you kill someone, the item in their hand drops on the ground. This has been wonky for a little while, often causing the dropped item to disappear. Thankfully, this is fixed as held items now drop properly when killed.
No more dropping through walls
The other thing about dropped items is they have defied the laws of physics for some time. You could drop items through walls, doors and other things. Some people have used this to leave their house, lock the door and drop the key back through the door. This will no longer be an option as those little dropped bags now have real physics.
Fixed wakeup bug... maybe
Players are still sporadically having trouble waking up. This bug has evaded the team for weeks now. After adding some more debugging to the player state yesterday, Garry has implemented a potential fix for this bastard of a bug. By the way, if you do have trouble waking up, try the old go into spectate and respawn trick (F1 -> spectate -> respawn).
