I’m thrilled to report: Charitable Rust 2023, which took place this weekend, was a huge success!

Estimated amount raised: $150,000!

That’s right! Between the stream donations and estimated skin sales, it appears that we’ve raised around $150,000 for charity: water so far. This number won’t be finalized for a bit, but there’s still an opportunity to give...

Exclusive four skin sales: Still going!

We have 4 exclusive skins on the item store this year!

Thank you to the talented skin creators of the item store and Twitch drop skins Milho Frito, badtRIP, Diazz, Duck, Morphus, and OnlyGh0sts! An extra shoutout and thank you to ThatGermanGuy who, for a couple years running now, has organized the skin contest for this event.

It’s not done yet though, the skins are still on the item store till Thursday! If you haven’t already, go pick them up and let’s keep increasing the total amount raised!

Over $20k in stream donations

We started with a $10,000 goal on our Tiltify campaign for the stream event on Saturday. After beating that, we upped the goal, ending the weekend at over $20,000!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, tuned in, and spread the word about this campaign to help us not only meet, but exceed our stream goals.

Thank you to our casting team!

We had 3 stream casters for the event this year who MC’d for the whole 12 hours. A huge thank you to RaynBirds, Kailey, and Kazelrov for your professional coverage and entertaining banter!

We had several other organizations participating and putting on events this year. A huge thank you to Nexus Online Services, Oil Team, Rust Reborn, and Rust-A-Holics for your hard work and awesome effort!

Also, a huge thank you to Game Server Kings for providing the hardware which ran our event server!

A huge thank you to charity: water for their collaboration with planning the event this year and for all the amazing good they do in the world through bringing fresh water to those in need around the world.

Our Tiltify campaign is still open, so it’s not too late to raise more funds for this great cause!

We owe the entire crew at Facepunch a huge debt of gratitude for their continued support in Charitable Rust. Every year they have partnered with us to help raise funds for this event and this year was no different. They not only helped raise awareness, they once again agreed to put skins on the item store - the proceeds of which go towards this great cause. On top of that, they ran a Twitch drop campaign which helped us have tons of viewers all day!

I can not thank the entire team at Facepunch enough for their ongoing support and tireless commitment toward improving and adding to the already incredible game that is Rust.

A special thank you goes out to every Rustafied VIP customer. It’s the VIP program which keeps Rustafied operating - without it we would not have the presence and servers which we do. Each year we save a portion of our proceeds for charity. On behalf of you all, Rustafied donated over $3,100 during this event!

This years’ event took tons of hours to set up the server, prizes, invites, and everything else which went into the production. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the entire team which helped out. There are way too many of you to name, but you know who you are, and I love you all!
