Twitch Rivals, Hot fixes and more!
12:00am EST - It’s been one week since the update and forced wipe and the team is cranking on fixes, hack week projects, forward progress, and the upcoming Twitch Rivals event.

Twitch Rivals
Third of its kind and the first opportunity for Twitch drops in several months, the Twitch Rivals event, Rust Team Battle III, goes live next Tuesday. Make sure to head to the Facepunch Twitch page to link your accounts and ensure you’re ready for those tasty, tasty drops.
Hot fixes
As is common after many monthly patches, several hot fixes were needed post forced wipe to ensure performance, stability, and to fix several issues. Although all optional, it is recommended you run them if you haven't already.
Caldera biome
Over in the realm of hack weeks, there is a flurry of activity on the caldera biome. Looking to be a lava-centric, scorched realm for potential upcoming procedural map generation, the caldera biome is receiving work on some foliage types, lava volumes, and more.
As with all hack week projects, it’s not clear exactly how or even if this will make it into normal gameplay. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
Test arena
Another hack week project, work has begun on a new AI arena. It's not clear exactly at this moment what the purpose of this arena will be, but the first thought seems like it could be a great place to train in PvP.
Charms
A new addition to hack week, charms. If these are anything like what charms are in other games, you would be able to attach little pieces of bling to your weapons. Currently there are seven known charms: a beancan, boots, pixel SMG, custom SMG, basecharm, rotating disco ball and a generic circle.
