Charitable Rust: 10 Amazing Years!
I’m thrilled to report: Charitable Rust 2024, which took place last weekend, was a huge success!
This post is to acknowledge the hard work of our team and thank everyone involved for their participation and generosity. Before we do, allow me to share the estimated amount raised…
Estimated amount raised: $100,000!
Between the stream donations and estimated skin sales, it appears that we’ve raised around $100,000 for Direct Relief so far. This number won’t be finalized for a bit, but there’s still an opportunity to give.
Exclusive four skin sales: Still going!
We have 4 exclusive skins on the item store this year!
Thank you to the talented skin creators of the item store and Twitch drop skins! An extra shoutout and thank you to ThatGermanGuy who for years running now has organized the skin contest for this event.
It’s not done yet though, the skins are still on the item store till Thursday, October 24th! If you haven’t already, go pick them up and let’s keep increasing the total amount raised!
Over $10k in stream donations
We hit our $10,000 goal on our Tiltify campaign during the weekend! And, with the help of UKN and OT, we managed to raise over $12,000 through the streams!
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, tuned in, and spread the word about this campaign to help us not only meet, but exceed our stream goals.
Thank you to our casting team and judges!
We had 2 stream casters for the event this year who MC’d for the whole 12 hours. A huge thank you to RaynBirds and Kailey for your excellent coverage and entertaining banter! And thank you to our guest judges, ChrissytinaFX (talent show) and Hedge (art contest)!
Thank you other Orgs!
We had several other organizations participating and putting on events this year. A huge thank you to Rust Reborn, UKN, and Oil Team for your hard work and awesome effort!
Also, a huge thank you to Game Server Kings for providing the hardware which ran our event server!
Thank you to Direct Relief!
A huge thank you to Direct Relief for the amazing work they do in this world.
Our Tiltify campaign is still open, so it’s not too late to raise more funds for this great cause!
Thank you Facepunch!
A massive thank you to the entire team at Facepunch for their unwavering support with Charitable Rust. Year after year, they've partnered with us to raise funds during this event, and this year was no exception. Their efforts in raising awareness were phenomenal, and they've continued their tradition of featuring skins in the item store, with all proceeds benefiting this wonderful cause. Additionally, their Twitch drop campaign significantly boosted our viewership throughout the day!
I truly can't express enough gratitude to everyone at Facepunch for their dedicated support and ongoing commitment to enhancing the incredible game that is Rust.
From the bottom of my heart, a huge thank you to the entire Facepunch team! Keep up the fantastic work! ❤️

To the production team
This years’ event took tons of hours to set up the server, prizes, invites, and everything else which went into the production. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the entire team which helped out. There are way too many of you to name, but you know who you are, and I love you all!
Thank you to everyone else
These acknowledgement posts are always difficult, especially with such a large event. So many people helped us reach (and beat) our goal, it is simply impossible to adequately acknowledge everyone. To all of you who donated, watched the stream, spread the word about the event, or participated in any way - I thank you.
If I missed a special mention to someone in particular, I apologize, and please know that I am grateful for your contribution.
Art contest!
This year we had some incredible entries to the art contest. A huge thank you to all who contributed, it was hard to pick this year. Here are the finalists (with the top 3 first). And a huge thank you to the Rust art community, especially Monstera, daVinci, and Phil for their feedback and support leading up to the event!

A huge thank you to everyone who had the courage to get up in front of everyone and express their talent! We were blown away with some of the performances this year!
